The kit:
This kit contains every thing that you need to construct BigDu's wind power plant. It however requires that you have access to welding equipment , drills and metal working tools. If you have a friend who has these tools and would be willing to help you put it together this would be a good option for you.
Assembled Unit:
This is a completely welded and assembled unit . All you will need to do is to obtain a piece of pipe, stick it in the ground and mount the unit on top. The only assembly required on your part is to place the blades in there place and tighten them down. Then insert the cotter pins and mount on the pipe.
The blades would take up too much space to make shipping possible in the assembled state.
The plans:
If you are handy and are willing to round up all the parts yourself then this is the least expensive way to do this. The plans contain detailed drawings and parts list as well as information on where to obtain the parts. It also contains a video that will show you the construction of the unit and how easy it is to do.
